Thank you for fixing this. My friend told me about this app but when I went to try it out, my ISO was 9. Something. Today June 7 2016 I will try it.

I go to tons of car shows and I work in car audio and I use this every day, people wanna know what db there car will hit things like that. Fast works great! And i tested to se if it would read the same as my term lab and its dead on!

Working around natural gas compressor stations requires to be aware of the SPL to select the proper noise protection. Although this application isnt a dedicated and OSHA approved, it serves as a good training tool. We have been comparing its readings against the units used by the Safety Department and found no big difference on the readings. Works OK!

Free version seemed to work okay for a while then it defaulted to an upgrade screen that wants to charge $9.95 for an improved version. Couldnt find a way to bypass upgrade screen so I uninstalled it.

This meter held a close tolerance to our meter from RadioShack. Others did not. Get this one. God Bless

App works good but anytime you hold your device in a position other than vertical, an annoying full page ad comes up for some other app. So you can not aim the sound hole at the source of the noise and get a reading.

Ive tried almost every Free Sound Level Meter and this one was the most accurate when compared to my EXTECH Digital Sound Level Meter. I normally keep it on Slow response and A Weight. Although youre getting readings from the built-in iPhone mic, it is very useful for small situations (i.e. home monitor setup.)

We have this annoying bar near us and thanks to this app we know thay are over the nose level law.

Its too low by 10 db

I was only at 106 db with my Klipsch La Scalas at 25 watts. Should have been at least 10 higher.

It doesnt work with iphone 5s. Even it can work well with iphone 5 - ios 7.04

Tested in quiet room, about 35db sounds right. With radio on mormal volume reads about 50. With radio up, goes up to 65-75db. Doesnt seem to read high like the other apps seem to.

Very accurate and easy to use. Big help in a small package!!!!!

This is not working with my iPhone 6. It worked great with my previous phone.

work verry good but interface is to basic and options

It works just fine on my iPhone 5S. However, it seems to lock up after a minute or two. Restarting the app frees it up. My big question is, why does this simple app take 16 Mb? It looks like another example of spyware or other virus, just like the Flashlight. Users beware.

Its accurate enough and its free! Hasnt been updated since 2013 though... Developer you still there?

Pleasantly surprised that a free app does just what its supposed to.

Compared to a real SPL meter this one reads about 15dB too low. Oh well, on to the next one.
